Safety & environment
Safety is the cornerstone of KOKO’s values. The organisation is committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment to all employees and service providers operating at the facility. KOKO Manufacturing’s track record speaks to its commitment to safety and risk prevention.
At the heart of this success is the strong commitment to building a safety culture. KOKO has developed comprehensive safety policies and procedures that are regularly updated. These guidelines cover a wide range of safety aspects including equipment operation, hazardous material handling, emergency response plans and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirement. Extensive behaviour-based training programs, safety talks, focused audits and risk prevention programs are regularly conducted to ensure that all employees are aware of and follow all safety precautions at all times. Employees are encouraged to actively engage in safety initiatives and report any concerns, near misses, or potential hazards. Each incident is dealt with due diligence, and a regularly-updated safety performance tracker is used to assess safety levels and opportunities for improvement. |
