Aligned to the KOKO mission
KOKO Manufacturing is focused on the mission of building and strengthening KOKO's ability to supply affordable and high-quality bioethanol cookstoves around the world. By incorporating industry best practices, KOKO Manufacturing stays true to its vision of being a world-class manufacturing operation that continues to improve its production scale, quality and economics.
At the heart of the organisation’s culture are five core values.
Success through systems
Opportunities for everyone
KOKO’s people are its strength. To support their growth and development, KOKO Manufacturing has defined career frameworks at every level, enabling employees to better understand their future within the organisation. Employees also have access to new opportunities across KOKO’s global network. This gives them the chance to expand their skillsets and their knowledge while continuing to deliver meaningful impact to customers.
KOKO Manufacturing also believes in nurturing talent through structured performance reviews. With clearly defined OKRs (Objectives & Key Results) and SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) goals, every employee is able to track and monitor their own performance. These are leveraged during periodic reviews with management to give constructive feedback, allowing employees to understand their strengths and areas for development. This then forms the basis of targeted development plans that can be supported with mentorship and training programs.
In order for feedback to be constructive, it’s important that every individual is able to have open communication. KOKO Manufacturing prides itself on having built a strong culture of direct and transparent interactions that translates into meaningful and actionable discussions between people.
Commitment to diversity & inclusion
As an equal-opportunity employer, KOKO Manufacturing is committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce, and all employees are encouraged to be their true selves at all times. Women’s empowerment is a key organisation goal, and building truly diverse teams is the first step to achieving that goal. Women@KOKO is an internal initiative that is dedicated to support the success of women at KOKO, while also addressing top gender challenges and building a community for guidance and mentorship.
KOKO ensures that its people have everything needed to be productive and positive while at the workplace, and provide them with additional benefits, including
