At the heart of the organisation’s culture are five core values.

Leadership |
Customer- orientation |
Professionalism & teamwork |
Staying true to these values ensures that the team are focused and mission-aligned, as well as able to grow and develop as individuals.
Scientific thinking is key
Scientific thinking is at the heart of how KOKO Manufacturing operates. At all levels, the team is encouraged to explore details, challenge assumptions, and ask critical questions. This has helped build an effective and systematic problem-solving culture in the workplace. It also forms the bedrock for a better understanding of what data is needed to make informed decisions.
KOKO Manufacturing uses industry best practices to help ensure quality and rigour across processes, such as:
Statistical Process Controls (SPC), used to diligently monitor processes and to both identify and resolve any issues highlighted
|
The 7QC tools (fishbone diagrams, check sheets, control charts, histograms, Pareto charts, scatter plots and stratification) help build a better strategic quality management plan based on structured data and insights
|
The DMAIC (Define-Measure-Analyse-Improve-Control) framework is leveraged regularly to drive continuous improvement across processes
|
The result?
Processes that continually improve and become more efficient, and a working environment that fosters growth and innovation.

Good people make a big impact
KOKO’s people are its strength. To support their growth and development, KOKO Manufacturing has defined career frameworks at every level, enabling employees to better understand their future within the organisation. Employees also have access to new opportunities across KOKO’s global network. This gives them the chance to expand their skillsets and their knowledge while continuing to deliver meaningful impact to customers.
KOKO Manufacturing also believes in nurturing talent through structured performance reviews. With clearly defined OKRs (Objectives & Key Results) and SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) goals, every employee is able to track and monitor their own performance. These are leveraged during periodic reviews with management to give constructive feedback, allowing employees to understand their strengths and areas for development. This then forms the basis of targeted development plans that can be supported with mentorship and training programs.
In order for feedback to be constructive, it’s important that every individual is able to have open communication. KOKO Manufacturing prides itself on having built a strong culture of direct and transparent interactions that translates into meaningful and actionable discussions between people.
