Prioritizing safety: Our participation in National Safety Week

​India's National Safety Week, held from March 4th to March 10th, serves as a vital reminder of the importance of creating a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. As an organisation that prioritizes safety in the workplace, we actively participated in promoting safety awareness and refreshing our staff’s knowledge and skills.

The week commenced with a solemn ceremony where all our employees pledged to maintain our focus on safety. This act of commitment served as a powerful starting point, reinforcing our shared responsibility for maintaining a safe work environment.

Building upon this foundation, we hosted a series of fire safety training sessions conducted by external experts. These sessions featured live demonstrations that illustrated the potential dangers of fire hazards and the importance of proper fire safety protocols.  The interactive nature of the training as well as the expertise of the instructors prepared our staff to handle fire emergencies effectively.

​In addition to this, our dedicated internal safety committee conducted a series of on-ground training sessions. These sessions focused on specific safety protocols relevant to different areas of the factory. This targeted approach ensured our staff received comprehensive training tailored to their specific roles and work environments.

​To elevate awareness within the broader community, we also organised a public safety rally. This well-attended event emphasised the importance of safety in everyday life. The positive reception and local news coverage generated from the rally underscored the value of promoting safety beyond the factory walls.

​Our participation in National Safety Week allowed us to re-commit to our culture of safety awareness throughout the factory. Looking forward, we will continue to improve our safety protocols and maintain a work environment where everyone feels safe and empowered to perform their duties effectively.
