​India's National Safety Week, held from March 4th to March 10th, serves as a vital reminder of the importance of creating a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. As an organisation that prioritizes safety in the workplace, we actively participated in promoting safety awareness and refreshing our staff’s knowledge and skills.

This year's International Women's Day (IWD) on March 8th provided a fantastic opportunity for our office to come together and celebrate the achievements of our incredible female staff.  The theme for IWD 2024, #InspireInclusion, resonated throughout the day's events, which focused on acknowledging diversity, fostering a sense of belonging, and empowering all colleagues.

India's quest for clean cooking solutions took a bioethanol turn at the recent India Energy Week as KOKO’s stall at the Global Biofuels Alliance’s pavilion attracted attention from top government officials and industry executives, who were enthralled with the potential role of this solution in helping to achieve India's ambitious goals of universal clean cooking access, energy independence, and Net Zero emissions. 

KOKO’s stall was graced by the Hon. Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi, who listened intently to a briefing on our current operations in Kenya and our manufacturing site in India, and then shared his appreciation of our USPs of daily affordability and positive social and environmental benefits.
